Narrowgauge Class C Shay geared logging locomotive. This model represents builder's serial number 3302 operated on the West Side Lumber Co. railroad operations as the number 12 out of Tuolumne in the state of California from 1940 to 1961. Uses a heavy girder steel frame and cast steel bogey frames. It was built in the Lima shops in 04-21-1926 originally for the Swayne Lumber Co., Oroville California. This locomotive is on the Shay Survivor List and now operates on tourist excursions as the Georgetown Loop RR #12, Silver Plume Colorado. This model was originally made for UTC but will work in TRS2004. UPDATED!!! Now works with Trainz version TRS2006!!! |
