Description: Juvenile -Very pale fawn grey-brown above, lighter below. Eyes a bluey green color. Spots beginning to appear as darker patches on back. Bill and feet yellow. Bill long and slender. Brown flecks on lateral under tail coverts.

Condition/Injury: Parasites,very thin and tired - not fully fledged. Scar from top of beak to underneath his right eye. Face swollen on right side and scar tissue present. A fishing hook injury? Faeces dark green and yellow.

18/1/96 16:45 Caught on Eastbourne Beach with a net. Quite an art to catch him - if runs into water unable to get him - does not stay in for long - indicative of how 'low' he is.
